Step back into the early twentieth century when, for the first time as part of Dine Dunedin, Olveston will host an intimate three-course dinner party for 20 guests in the family’s dining room.
Dine just like the original owners, the Theomin family did with their guests in their dining room at their dining table surrounded by their furnishings.
Olveston’s elegant and timeless spaces are the perfect backdrop for a truly memorable Dunedin Formal Dinner. Guests will be welcomed into the drawing-room for pre-dinner drinks with music from Olveston’s beautiful 1906 Steinway grand piano. After dinner in the dining room ascend the magnificent oak staircase to the billiard room as David Theomin’s guests did in the early 1900s.
Olveston's working with the city’s best caterers to design a formal menu featuring southern produce. The three-course formal dinner matched to drinks is $200 per person.
