CJC Creative Jazz Club presents: Trioglodyte & Guests
Since the end of the first lockdown in 2020, Trioglodyte have held a monthly residency at the Wine Cellar. Each Trioglodyte performance features different guests and a new repertoire of songs and melodies. No material is off limits and the band have performed music from such diverse sources as Pakistani Qawwali, Colombian Rebajadas, Angolan Soul and Bruce Springsteen in addition to selections of jazz standards, bebop favourites and heartfelt ballads.
For their performance at CJC Trioglodyte are joined by a guitarist of exquisite tone and taste - Kat Tomacruz, two drummers channelling elemental and extraterrestrial energies - Larsen Taylor and Julien Dyne, and a musician who transforms electrical impulse into elegant sound dance - Nava Tekela-Pule.
