Creative Jazz Club: Takadimi

CJC returns for 2021 with Takadimi!!

Blending Indian, jazz and world musical forms, Takadimi is led by renowned classical Tabla player Manjit Singh.

Manjit will be joined by his better half Daljeet, who is a phenomenal singer and expertise in North Indian classical singing.

The ryhthm section is rounded out by veterans Alan Brown, and Mostyn Cole, with Charlie Isdale joining on saxophone, performing their originals and a selection of Jazz and world music numbers.

Expect tabla grooves, ancient ragas with a forward looking jazz outlook.
