We've got a fantastic art-making opportunity for children aged 5 - 11 years old during the Kāpiti Arts Trail. In partnership with Reddins and the Raumati Village Business Association, Creative Kāpiti invites you to come and build your creativity with an afternoon of art, colour, textures, and paper. Rip up magazines and make beautiful collage parrots, guided by practising artist and designer, Anthea Evelyn Weir. View her website.
Our hosts for this workshop are Reddins, who will reward all budding artists with an ice cream sundae! If it is a good weather day we'll be making outside under shaded umbrellas, otherwise we will be inside.
Workshop Details:
- $10 per child (including ice cream sundae) to be paid on the day
- Materials supplied, however you are welcome to bring your own old magazines (or rip out some blues, greens, yellows, reds and black ahead of time) and a glue stick.
- Parents and caregivers are welcome to stay. If you or your children feel unwell on the day, we ask you that you stay home.
