WORD Christchurch

Curated and hosted by the one and only Daisy Speaks, Confluence is a celebration of the vā: a bringing together of the musical brilliance of Judah Band and The Byllie Jean Project with words from Ben Brown,  Juanita Hepi, Dietrich Soakai and Tusiata Avia; and of the tuakana/teina relationship between Māori and Pasifika peoples, both ancient and new. Expect soulful and joyous explorations of mana wahine, freedom, and stories shared across oceans.

Please note that Hana Pera Aoake and Ruby Solly will no longer be appearing.

Please note: All events are general admission seating. The safety of our audience is paramount: please arrive early, scan in and wear a mask. Audience numbers are capped under COVID Alert Level 2 and social distancing measures will be in place within each venue.
