Lockdown 2020.

After a lifetime of dreaming, a persistent and passionate musician decided it was time to walk it and not just talk it.

Collaborators were essential and a hunt to find them ensued. After much cajoling and sending of demos, he finally convinced the bass and drums to come on board.

Daily sharing of home recordings in a 'Back of the Bus' WhatsApp group and a 'be prolific' mentality resulted in the composition of 10 new originals.

After more cajoling, the lead guitarist and pianist joined the crew, Churchill Crown was born.

Lockdown ends and CC gets busy. Regular rehearsals in the drummer's garage and a ' we don't do covers ' mentality sparked the creative in all.

With a diverse range of influences from Peter Garett to Bob Dylan, Justin Vernon to Thom Yorke, The Beatles and The Carpenters to Van Morrison, Churchill Crown are a five-piece that combines an old school mentality with a tight sense of melody. They create music that comments on the every day reflect the times we live in and the world in which we live.
