Join us at the Howick Historical Village for Christmas fun throughout December!
While the decorations have been pared back festiveness is still in the air! From 3rd to 24th December see the interiors of the grand, 1861 homestead Puhi Nui gloriously decked-out. Work your way around the Village learning about traditions from the past on a Christmas trail.
On weekends between 1-3pm, join us for a Christmas Crafternoon! Make the following:
4 & 5 Dec - Peg Doll Tree Ornaments
11 & 12 Dec - Orange & Clove Pomander Ornaments
18 & 19 Dec - Christmas Lanterns
With lots of space in the beautiful gardens to allow for distancing, bring a picnic or purchase something from our friends and the Homestead Café!
No booking required but Crafternoon activities are limited to 24 groups/bubbles (max 3 per group) to allow for distancing. Register on arrival. No cost for activities, but donations are welcome, or support us through gift shop purchases!
Please note that presenting a vaccine certificate on arrival is a condition of entry. Craft activities are subject to change. If wet the activities will be held in the large schoolhouse. Last admissions are at 3pm.
