Come Join Maria from The Butterfly Musketeers & Meg from The Spirit Garden.

These holidays bring your tamariki along for a magical walk in nature. Welcome to the Ōtautahi peninsula foraging walk, a time to connect with the land and all the abundance it has to offer! Explore the lush location of Te Onepoto: Taylor's Mistake to explore all the wild nature has to offer!

Meg and Maria will be leading this fantastic adventure of edible food exploration. Finding everything from native spinach, Kōkihi, wild parsley, Miner's Lettuce and beyond! Meg is a long time forager and avid Wizard of all things plant magic.

Maria is a Butterfly Educator - Cert Botany & Horticultural - Civic Award recipient for her services to the Environment & Education. Will be teaching you all about the flowers that are vital food for our pollinators in our environment, explaining what types of nectar flowers & plants are beneficial for our native butterflies, bees and birds.

Come along to tune into all the abundance nature has to give with your tamariki.

Please bring water, sunhat, and sunblock. This walk is accessible for all children and flat. The walk will be 1.5hr turn around we will be stopping loads at each area, with plenty of time for questions.

$11 for Children.

Children under 5 FREE

Koha donations for anyone that wants to come that cannot access tickets. PM to book a spot.
