Cheer on NZ on the big screen at OM

Come along and see your favourite teams compete with your community right there with you! We will be screening every day from 10am – 5pm.

Come over during lunch, during a study break, or, hey, it only happens once every four years, come over during work!

We are going cycling, rowing, swimming, hockey, and running crazy at the Museum this week. There are lots of activities for kids, colouring in competitions with cool prizes, sporting crafts and games. Every day we will be giving away a family pass to the Otago Sports Hall of Fame for one lucky visitor, where you can go and touch a real gold medal won by a kiwi.

After you finish watching your favourites cross the line, visit our galleries where you can see sculptures of the first athletes over 2500 years ago. Be part of something people have watched for generations and generations, here now at Otago Museum.
