Set in the reign of Elizabeth I, Edmund Blackadder is facing bankruptcy and worse and, with his loyal but somewhat dim manservant, attempts a variety of cunning plans to disentangle himself from his woes and misadventures. From the pens of Richard Curtis & Ben Elton this rollicking saucy play is an amateur performance of the hit BBC comedy series, adapted for the stage and directed by Dave Stearns.
