Join us for the special extended final show of the Lazy Sunday’s series featuring One Waka, Run 77, Hannah and The Band and Scrooge.

Get together with friends and enjoy a mix of tunes from some of our best home-grown music artists. Bring a picnic and end your weekend relaxing in the sun.

- One Waka

One Waka are a seven-piece Reggae Roots Cooperative, bringing their rocking rhythms, upbeat tempos and harmonic vibes. One Waka’s mission is to sing their songs through the rich and colourful framework of Reggae music, always paying respect to those before them and enjoying the ride along the way! The band’s debut album Dub Sea Voyages was recently released.

- Scrooge

Scrooge is a live musical smorgasbord combining elements of funk, dub and rock. The band recommend bringing your dancing shoes when attending this fun, live show. It will the band’s debut performance at Lazy Sundays.

- Hannah and The Band
New Zealand born Hannah Everingham is a singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist.
As an indie, soul, jazz and folk singer, Hannah weaves together songwriting influenced by the likes of Rufus Wainwright and Lianne La Havas, with the inspiration of producers like Still Woozy and Rostam. Hannah and The Band were recent finalists in the Canterbury University Battle of the Bands competition.

- Run 77
Run77 are a progressive indie-rock band from Christchurch. They started writing together in high school and went on to win Canterbury Rock Quest.
The band have since continued to gain momentum, delivering many entertaining and high energy shows, which have earned them a very supportive local fan base.

This is a free event suitable for all ages.
