The Hobsonville Community Trust Community Venues Team is very excited to work with Auckland Fringe to extend the Fringe away from the CBD to the wider community. As a Satellite venue, Art on Point will be the first of its kind. Fringe Satellites aim to uplift the work of local artists, for local audiences, locally.

Get amongst the likes of:
- Greenstone Pictures' K-Pop Academy dance crews for a live performance - to be recorded for the reality TV show! A few members from their Dargaville contingent will be joining too - woohoo for the North!

- Ravi the Poet
"They say write what you know.
1. Vulnerability is the north star of art
2. The personal is universal
3. The rule of three
3b. Rules are meant to be played with."

- Router Sidewalker (George Fenn)
A paranatural pick-a-path tour with a seasoned extradimensional guide...

- Songs from My Suitcase (Whitney Channing)
Live. Laugh. Love. Lockdown.
When coming home is more disorienting than a holiday without a map. A quirky, human, original cabaret.

- Local band Bloodlines; a three-piece Dark Synth instrumental act whose inspirations range from Indie, Rock, Dark Wave and the soundtracks of '70s and '80s horror movies.

- Arts and crafts from 'More Than A Market'

- Food trucks - and more!

This initiative is to extend the reach of Fringe Festival as a hub of creative exploration and free reigning ideas into communities which aren't often engaged in the city-centric version of the festival. The Tāmaki Fringe is about people, we're focused on the grass-roots makers and their stories, promoting the freedom to celebrate and exchange.

Art on the Point will be held at the Headquarters Park on Cinema Road, Hobsonville Point on 27 March from 10 am – 1 pm.

It'll be a hoot! Come join us! Bring your families! Nau mai, haere mai!
