On Tuesday evening, at 5pm the, "Art with Heart" group will be opening the doors to Reyburn House to and welcoming you in for a look at their work. They would love it if you could attend this social event with them.
Please Note: Food and drink will not be available at the opening, this is to comply with the current L2 regulations. More time to look, admire and purchase.
After three years of meeting and discussing one another’s art along with drinking copious amounts of coffee the ‘Art with Heart ‘group decided to take a brave and confirming step to exhibit their work.
Andrea Lomas, Lyn Gray, Mary Stevens, Robyn Hallberg, Sue Anson and Shaelagh Jones make up the group. This small tribe is a blend of experienced and beginner artists who initially met at the ‘Gallery and Gifts’ store on Lower Bank Street.
After getting to know each other the group decided to meet at a member’s home every fortnight and focus on creating a patient and tactful environment for everyone to learn and improve their art in.
The art that will be on display is a collection of pieces that the individuals have worked on steadily over the past year. It’s probably cliché to say their work is inspired by nature, but it can’t be helped, nature is fascinating.
The group would love everyone experiencing the exhibition to enjoy it and make a purchase to help fund the next year of painting.
