Every Saturday morning,
This is a 1.5 hour art class for school-aged children.
Annie focuses on a friendly, fun and social environment for your child to learn how to paint using acrylics. Over the course of a few weeks, your child will develop their very own painting to a finished standard that they are happy with and take it home to hang on your wall and be proud of their achievements, alternatively, you could bring your child for a one-off fun activity.
The first hour usually focuses on where and how to begin a new painting. The first layers are applied and a few different techniques are practised in class. This will develop into their chosen theme for their desired painting over the coming weeks.
The second hour is a mental release for your child where they will discover new mediums to work with. This could include air-dried and polymer clay for jewellery making or sculptures, mixed media for scrapbooking, building fairy houses and more.
Annie believes that children should be encouraged to use their imagination and self-expression to explore with their hands and to learn how to create what their mind sees.
This is a small class of between 6 and 10 children. Seats are limited so book early to avoid disappointment.
