AKL Heritage Festival: Heavy Metal Music: CANCELLED

High above Auckland, the church of St Matthew-in-the-City rings its bells out over the noise of the city. Who, how, and why are the bells rung? St Matthew's Society of Bellringers, along with bellringers from St Peter's Cathedral Hamilton, are teaming up with MOTAT to bring you a whole lot of insight into the ancient art of bellringing.

Come along to MOTAT to learn more about how we create music from heavy metal bells and the people and processes involved. There’ll be regular bellringing performances and a chance for you to give it a go.

Event is free with entry to MOTAT, separate tickets not required.
