About the artist:
Kairau ‘Haser’ Bradley (Ngā Puhi) is a Māori artist raised between West Auckland and Whangārei, Aotearoa. With over 20 years’ experience in the graffiti community, he is one of a handful of artists at the forefront of the graffiti and street art scene in New Zealand. Haser's work reflects a lifetime of exploring the limits and boundaries of the alphabet in the context of graffiti, he enjoys playing with the movement and stance of each letter and figurative shapes by incorporating playful elements into his works. He has worked across multiple mediums, exhibiting throughout Australasia, North America, Europe, Asia, and Middle East.
This workshop is part of The Most Dedicated: Street Art Festival – a selection of new murals painted throughout the Lower Hutt CBD by internationally acclaimed street art collective, TMD Crew. Between 27 and 30 March, see how 15 of the TMD Crew members paint the murals live and turn the city into an outdoor art gallery, adding to Lower Hutt’s existing display of street art.
