Touch Compass presents #a11yArts: International Creative Leadership Series featuring arts and theatre experts from Australia, Canada, China, and the United States.
Join Touch Compass to hear from six heralded and cutting-edge leaders in theatre and performing arts in our free #a11yArts: International Creative Leadership Series, happening this November and December.
We have gathered together some of the most innovative minds in disability arts to hear about their lives, their careers, their successes and their visions for the future. These engaging webinars will explore topics that will expand your knowledge and understanding of the intersectionality of disability and performance, self-identification, climate, touring and Covid. They will introduce you to new and exciting frontiers of disability and performing arts, and offer an amazing opportunity to meet these change-makers in a webinar setting.
**All webinars will be New Zealand Sign Language interpreted.**
Wednesday 17 November - Lynn Fu (China), Arts Curator & Consultant in China: Touring China as a Disabled Artist
Friday 19 November - Alex Bulmer (Canada), Artistic Director: Adaptive Performance Techniques & Leadership in Disability Theatre
