40 years on from the Springbok tour, join us for a day of dialogue and reflection. The day will include a screening of Merata Mita’s definitive protest documentary PATU! (1983), a panel discussion about the impact of the tour and a chance to see tour-related items from the collections of National Library and Ngā Taonga.
Panel discussion
Following the film screening, there will be a very special discussion from panellists involved in the protests and the making of PATU! — including editor Annie Collins.
TOHE | PROTEST
You’ll also have a chance to explore TOHE | PROTEST, the new exhibition about the Tour from Ngā Taonga Sound & Vision.
About the speaker
