This class will take you “back stage” behind the sparkly curtain and give you a taste of what #burlylife is like and the opportunity to learn basic skills. You can do this from anywhere in New Zealand
In these weekly virtual/online classes I will teach you the key moves. The outcome will be an increase in your confidence and a contribution to ideas to empower your experience as a woman.
Getting your sexy back 101 is a 4-week burlesque class where you’ll learn:
Class 1 - Magnetism of anticipation: we’ll have some fun with the historic element of glove and stocking peels
Class 2 - Power of your energy: through the different forms of strutting and movement
Class 3 - Impact you make when you tap into the ancestry of the sisters before you: we learn who they are from herstory/history and why they are important
Class 4 - Potent effects of graTiTude and joy: through the art of shimmying
Plus show and tells: you get to see costumes and props from an award-winning international performer
And this comes with a warning: I actively encourage fun and laughter in classes.
This sets you up for the next class 102 Foundation Burlesque. You are welcome to repeat this class, there is a repeat price please note enrolment for this will only be allowed if you have taken a Sparkleforce 101 class before.
