The Zentangle Method is an easy-to-learn, relaxing, and fun way to create beautiful images by drawing structured patterns. Almost anyone can use it to create beautiful images. It increases focus and creativity, provides artistic satisfaction along with an increased sense of personal well-being.

This class is being offered by Ildica, a Certified Zentangle Tutor (CZT) and will provide a taste of the background in the history of the Zentangle Method, introduce them to the basics steps of the method, various tangles, techniques, associated vocabulary and tools used which, as a CZT, Ildica has learnt direct from its creators Rick Roberts and Maria Thomas.

The Zentangle Method is enjoyed all over the world, across a wide range of skills, interests and ages. Based on the belief that life is an art form, our Zentangle Method is an elegant metaphor for deliberate artistry in life.

Students will be immersed in creating actual Zentangle tiles with materials provided to get you up and running in your practice, providing you with the knowledge and materials to keep you going afterwards. You will leave with a clear understanding that “Anything is possible one stroke at a time”®.

There is an additional material cost of $25, in cash, to the tutor in the class - this covers all the materials you will need for the term and will give you starting materials to carry on afterwards – if you want to build your Zentangle practice beyond the class.
