Numbskull Presents: Wreck’d On a Wednesday

King Fish, The Shelves, The Gallery, Loner and The Nobody’s.

Numbskull Records loves a wreck. We like to party, listen to live music, and hey, even have a itty bitty fuck out in the corner of your favourite venue (don’t do this). We’ve got 4 of Wellington city’s hottest young bands to help you waste away your studylink $$$ gracefully cause we’re just like that, don’t ask why. Bring your mates, bring your dog, bring whoever the fuck you want, as long as you like to dance and don’t mind the smell of cheap beer spilt on your brand new stussy tee.

King Fish are one of the newest bands to the Wellington scene, but they’ve garnered admiration of many die-hard fans as one of the most fun and energetic bands round Wellington through a series of excellent gigs at the end of 2019.

The Shelves are the Victoria university hot boys everyone gets down with. Their sets are hard, fast and boosty, and they are not afraid to rip the shirts off when the time calls. Be prepared for a mosh and some brand new tunes from these shelvy kings.

The Gallery has garnered a serious following from a great tenure at The Garden in the summer of 2019. With great musicianship, a beautiful message and charisma to f*ckin boot, these guys demand a room filled with dancing and grooves like you would not believe.

Loner and The Nobodys who the f*ck knows whats going on with these guys. From the deep dark midst of Wellington city, they like to mix whatever genre with whatever sound and maybe have a political message? Doubt it - that’s just what my mate told me. Show up to figure out what they’re up to.
