Art in Gardens Tour

We have 18 Gardens for enthusiasts to visit over two days. Many of the Gardens in this years tour are new to us, making it a very exciting foray into our local backyards.
​
A Pop-Up Garden Art store will be on site at Whangarei Quarry Gardens as well as plant stalls and a sausage sizzle. Local artists will be exhibiting works in several gardens on the tour - all artworks exhibited are for sale. Grab an original piece of art for your own backyard sanctuary.

Starting at the northern end of town at Crane Rd or Tikipunga, the tour leads back through Kamo and town, and heads out to Maunu and finishes at Mangakahia Road.
​
We have something for everyone here, from big country gardens to small, modern urban gardens packed full of good ideas for our green thumbed visitors.
