Wellington Handmade Guitar Show

Join some of Wellington's finest guitar makers in celebrating the craft of lutherie at this exhibition of acoustic and electric guitars. Up to thirty instruments will be on display at the beautiful street level Thistle Hall in Wellington's Upper Cuba Street.

These will include handmade acoustic guitars, mandolins, bouzoukis, alongside electric instruments and ukeleles. This free exhibition will be staffed so people can take a break from the Arts Festival and study these works at their leisure. Questions are welcome and some of the makers will be on hand to demonstrate their instruments during the week.

The guitar show starts with some live music at 6pm, Tuesday, March 3.
