Walk in the Park in the Dark

Due to the extension of Level 2 restrictions we postponed the event. Subject to a return to Level 1 we have rescheduled to 26 September.

Walk in the Park in the Dark is a long-running community walk in the Wither Hills Farm Park after dark. Long and short walks suited to all ages, it's a great family event even for pre-schoolers. This year to celebrate the fact that we can go walking despite COVID-19 we'll have live music from Double Shot, fireworks from Fireworks New Zealand and food and drinks from the fantastic Rarangi Surf Lifesaving Club team. All takings from the sale of food and drink go to the Rarangi Surf Lifesaving Club so come along for a great evening and put a few dollars in the kitty for them.
