We have been approached by Dive Now - Whangarei to run an underwater beach clean up for Sea Week.

We will be running 2 teams, one to collect items in water and one team to deal with rubbish above water.

We are diving at slack low tide which is 12.19pm, so plan to hit the water at 11.40am.

All divers must be qualified, buddied up and tow a dive float (Dive Now can provide these) and have a catch bag for rubbish. Larger items can be dealt with by the qualified teams with lift bags.

We are also looking for volunteers in boats or kayaks to anchor up and display dive flags to alert of water users of our presence.
