New Zealand’s favourite showband, the award- winning Modern Māori Quartet, is back with a stunning new theatrical work five years in the making.
Two Worlds brings about a timely return to Modern Māori Quartet’s theatrical beginnings. With their signature style they weave together four stories full of heart and revelation that unfold the fabric of Māori musical culture, its genealogy and evolution.
Layering a uniquely Kiwi narrative to their soaring harmonies and classic quirky charm, Modern Māori Quartet invites you to meet Koro, Big Bro, Uncle and Bub, and experience their take on what it means to be Māori in this day and age.
Stay and sip awhile after the show at the Piano Bar, with live music playing from 8.30pm–9.30pm, at Theatre Royal Lounge Bar.
