Trio Pōneke Lunchtime Concert

The members of Trio Pōneke grew up within a mile of each other overlooking Worser Bay, Wellington. Violinist Claudia Tarrant-Matthews has been studying in London while pianist (and violinist) Sofia Tarrant-Matthews is planning on studying in Germany later this year. Cellist Bethany Angus is currently working towards her honours degree at Victoria University after studying in the Waikato. The trio has a great time working together and also enjoys exploring Wellington on foot during their spare time.
They will be performing Trio in C minor by Joseph Haydn and Trio no.2 in E minor by Shostakovich.
