The Women of Jazz -- HB Jazz Club Big Band Concert

From the 1930s onwards the international jazz scene flourished, and it still does today. However the Women of Jazz in the early days were certainly in the minority compared to male jazz performers. There were many barriers, but these were not enough to prevent any number of great women jazz performers gaining true stardom.

Join us as we salute the contributions to jazz of Ella Fitzgerald, Nina Simone, Billy Holiday, Dinah Washington, and many more - all of them truly great Women of Jazz.
