The Witching Hours is a spooky anthology of short, sharp radio plays - performed LIVE and in the flesh!

"Totally Weird; Strange and Engaging." -Charlotte Simmonds, Theatreview

Your Snapper card is possessed and has a taste for blood! Siri is getting murderously envious of my relationship with Alexa. A sourdough starter has turned savage! There’s scalding magic in this tea… What has happened to the Starship Samurais? Oh, and the mayor is a monster. Literally!

Each night is brand-new with two never-before-heard spooky, side-splitting tales with a very special 90 minute Halloween Spooktacular on Saturday 31 October.

This fresh season features the writing of modern master of mystery and mirth Uther Dean (Massive Crushes, Watch, A Play About Space) alongside Eamonn Marra (2000ft. Above Worry Level, Dignity, I, Will Jones), Abby Howells (HarleQueen, Glocknid (Dwarf Warrior), Benedict Cumberbatch Must Die), Emilie Hope (Confessions with a Kangaroo), and Jonny Potts (The Best Show in Town is at Your Place Every Night, The Nose, Loose: A Personal History of Booze and Iggy Pop).

All episodes are narrated by droll darling of drama and delight Jonny Potts and feature sound design and live foley by Oliver Devlin (Hans Pucket, Binge Culture, A Traveller’s Guide to Turkish Dogs, WMBADx, Me and My Sister Tell Each Other Everything).

Also featuring a cast of local legends every night and REAL GHOSTS!

From the team who brought you Massive Crushes, The Witching Hours is another powerhouse production duo of A Mulled Whine and My Accomplice.
