'The quality of ordinary life' is in the things not normally thought of twice: throwaway comments, roadside trash, biscuits, and passé life advice; the light and the dark; books, conceptual frameworks, and supermarket background noise. As Celine Dion says, Baby, think twice. This is a series of works reclaiming a grammar of type, found materials, and the book form in order to question those messages that quietly and ubiquitously influence the quality of ordinary life.
