For over 30 years in its current format, The Original Gypsy Fair has been travelling NZ and we will be back in Napier at Anderson Park for our 5th fair of the 2020/2021 season.
Bigger, Brighter, Better. The Original Gypsy Fair has had some positive changes whilst maintaining its charm that it is well known for. A fun-filled day for the whole family with something for everyone and entry is free! As always we will be bringing you an expansive range of handmade products, some of which will be made before your eyes.
Watch our resident Tinker skilfully craft upcycled silver plate cutlery into works of art. Grab yourself a unique piece of jewellery and other items made from silverware.
Hair Braiding and Dread Maintenance
There’s also a gorgeous array of items lovingly made from beads. Earrings, bracelets, necklaces, sun catchers, spiders, just to name a few. An expansive range of clothing and accessories are available, tie-dye, boho, hats, bags, wall hangings, dream catchers and more.
Circus toys, Hula hoop, juggling, fire poi, comic art, airbrush tattoos, a unique obstacle bounce and new this year. Test out your skills on the hoverboards. Shoot for prizes or shoot for fun at the Shooting Gallery.

This season we welcome back our fabulous stage manager, bringing with her a fresh new sound. An amazing lady with an amazing voice. Spend time in our village green soaking up the sounds and playing on ye old PlayStation toys.
The Original Gypsy Fair is NZ’s longest-running fair and has an eclectic range of mobile homes which you can admire as you walk among the stalls.
