The Southland Society of Model Engineers will be holding our 35th annual Great Little Train Show 'The Covid Special' this coming Labour weekend.
Although reduced in size due to not hiring the 10 court badminton halls beside us this year, we will still be hosting public for our ride-on trains, supported by displays of r/c boats on the pond and r/c buggy's on the grass track. The two large HO/OO and N scale club layouts will be operating in the train shed while several small layouts of varying scales will be on display inside our clubrooms.
Due to this year being hard on us all, entry is free to our club grounds at Surrey Park with train rides only $2.
Important local retailers '0-4-0 Trains & Models' and 'Laird Motorsport & Models' will be onsite also.
We enjoy sharing our hobbies with our community too much to let Covid-19 beat us, so come along and enjoy the weekend with us
