The Incubator

Intricate fingerstyle grooves, soaring harmonies, thoughtful lyrics and many a good laugh in an incredibly engaging show which promotes a Culture Of Connection.

Fluid Groove 5-Piece based in Margaret River, on West Australia’s wild South-West coastline, Blue Child Collective's easy-flowing, conscious song craft "evokes the gentle rhythms and roaring freedom of Australia’s seaside" (Happy Mag).

Fronted by Dan White, director of The West Australian Guitar Festival, keen multi-instrumentalist and fingerstyle artisan, this is music with purpose. From his thought-provoking lyrics to the Collective’s engaging live performances, “Blue Child Collective is connecting people through music” (Scenstr), creating waves that have earned them a nomination for West Australian Music’s Best Regional Act 2018 and support slots for The Cat Empire, Sticky Fingers, Xavier Rudd, San Cisco, Ash Grunwald, The Beautiful Girls, Teskey Brothers and many more.

With their 4th record, “Wake Up To The Sound”, featuring Bobby Alu, OJ Newcomb (John Butler Trio), Ken Allars (Caravana Sun), PaulieB (George/The Beautiful Girls) and more just released November last year, 2019 has already seen the group bust out a 16-date Australian tour, another New Zealand tour in March along with their annual Region WA Tour in support of the record.

With their third documentary, titled “The Art Of Sound”, out later this year along with the first singles from their highly anticipated 5th album, there are no signs of slowing down anytime soon.

Plug in, connect and get involved: Blue Child Collective is fast becoming a major catalyst for positive change on a global scale as more and more people join the movement and contribute to the “Culture Of Connection”.
