The 16th Annual Talk Like a Pirate Day Pubcrawl

Please join us in the southern hemisphere's largest pirate party, the essential date on every pirates calendarrr, the world-famous Taranaki Pirate Pubcrawl.

Every Septemb-arr (but this year in Decemb-arr), pirates from all over New Zealand gather in New Plymouth to celebrate everything about being a pirate. We fill the bars with noise, we fill our bellies with booze and grub, and we fill the fine people of Taranaki with confusion and merriment

New pirates are welcomed with open arrrms. Every year our crew gets bigger, we had over 170 pirates from all over New Zealand in 2019

If ye have never joined us before, we love meeting new pirates - young and old. Non-drinkers are also welcome! We have quite a few sober pirates (including the person writing this event description) who all have a great time

So invite ye mates, dust off ye pirate costumes, practice ye shantys and get ready for the largest gathering of pirates ye will ever see (until the next one)
