Te Kawau Stream - Takaro Park Spring Clean-Up

Palmy’s Plastic Pollution Challenge and School Strike 4 Climate Manawatu invite you to join them in spring cleaning the Takaro Park stretch of Te Kawau Stream.

We’ll be removing rubbish from the waterway and surrounds and giving the stream a bit of TLC.

Please wear suitable clothing, gumboots / sturdy shoes, and gardening gloves or similar if you have them. We’ll provide hand sanitiser, sunscreen, some gloves and all other equipment. Plus some soft drinks and snacks to celebrate our mahi!
