The Tauranga Amateur Variety concert is comprised of local musicians - pianists, vocalists, duets and small ensembles. The instruments are acoustic and the musicians range from intermediate to advanced ability. The performance consists of about 14 individual or group performances, from two to 10 minutes in length. The concert has a 15 minute intermission. The performances are in general of a light hearted nature, and are intended to appeal to a wide audience.
