Sound Journey with Sika

Drift into the dream time in the sanctuary of Mana Retreat Centre.

Join us for what promises to be a captivating evening. Besides didgeridoos Sika plays an extraordinary range of natural instruments, including drums, native flutes and Taonga pūoro ('singing treasures'). He creates a safe space to let go of our ordinary reality for a while, inviting us to lie down, close our eyes and let the sounds carry us.

You may also feel the vibration of the didgeridoo played directly over your body as Sika moves around the space, weaving his magic. These ancient sounds have a shamanic, primordial quality that speaks to something deep within us. Helping us feel connected to ourselves and to our wild, beautiful planet. Besides profoundly relaxing, many find the experience illuminating, even transformative. Not to be missed!

Details:

Please bring whatever you need to lie comfortably - a yoga mat, blanket(s) and a small pillow or cushion for your head. If you prefer to stand or sit that's completely fine. It's your journey.
We recommend bringing a journal to capture any insights or images you may experience, plus a bottle of water.

There will be two sound journeys during the evening, with an interval in between.

Tickets are available in advance via Eventfinda. Any extras will be sold on the door, first come first served. If you are paying on arrival please bring cash with you.

Sound journey CDs will also be available to buy on the night, cash only.
