The ever-groovy, party-starting SKILAA return to Wellington to celebrate the release of their first music video. Accompanying their most recent single ‘But I do’, the video will premiere through RNZ on March 17th, and live at Moon1 on March 20th.
Filmed and edited by Greece-based producer and video maker Briar Prastiti (Hydrabitch), also sister to SKILAA’s frontwoman Chelsea Prastiti, the video features rich stop-motion nature scenes from Greece and Cyprus, where the sisters share a heritage connection through their father, and of course Anni, their Yiayia (Greek for Grandmother).
Joining the party is incredible Pōneke act Dawn Diver, lead by multi-instrumentalist Ben Lemi (Trinity Roots, French for Rabbits). An evening you won't want to miss!
