Coming to you fortnightly from BATS Theatre, Shrimp Cocktail Hour is a surreal new comedy show; serving you strange characters, local guests, live music and, most importantly, the shrimp cocktail of the week.
Shrimp Cocktail Hour is a delicious concoction; part talk-show, part sketch show and garnished with a dash of live-call chaos. Online audiences are invited to call-in live to the studio for a chill chat, to ask for some advice or to cause a bit of mayhem.
Alayne Dick and Aaron Pyke recently performed their Fringe Festival show Deep and Meaningful (winner of the SYNZ Tour Ready Award) on the final night before BATS Theatre went into lockdown. In early June, the duo premiered Shrimp Cocktail Hour as the first show to be performed at BATS Theatre, post-lockdown. Now tickets are open to the wider public, so put on your smoking jacket and sauter yourself to the parlour. It’s time for the Shrimp Cocktail Hour.
