Want to know how to more effectively insert science into your short science fiction stories, or how to make your made-up technologies sound convincing? This is the workshop for you. Bring pen and paper, or laptop if that’s what you prefer to work on. This two hour workshop is open to everyone over 16 years of age.

Octavia Cade is a New Zealand writer with a PhD in science communication. She's sold close to 50 short stories, won three Sir Julius Vogel awards and was the 2020 writer in residence at Massey University. Octavia is a 2020 Arts Centre Creative Resident.
