Our School Holiday Special is back with even more shows to choose from!
Bring your whānau to Stardome to see a show in our incredible 360-degree planetarium, then catch a live science experiment with our Astronomy Educators, all for only $8 per person, per show – for both parents and kids!
What’s great about this holiday line up is the range of shows and session times available, perfect for pre-schoolers right through to teens.
Get set to join the adventures of the Accidental Astronauts as they take an unexpected journey into space, explore some of the best known sights of our Solar System in Perfect Little Planet, and be amazed as you take a breath-taking guided tour of our night sky in Looking Up. And the fun doesn’t stop there! After your show, head over to watch our Astronomy Educators conduct some cool science experiments (all included in your show ticket price), and if the weather is fine, they’ll launch water-powered rockets out in the sunshine.
Note: Planetarium Shows will run between 10.00am and 5.00pm every weekday during the school holidays.
