This has been rated as a 5 star show! Ryan Neville and The Midnight Blues Band is a 5-piece band that weaves a sonic tapestry through the decades of the greatest musical entertainers of our time. With four albums to their name and five US tours, Ryan Neville & The Midnight Blues Band are smoking hot!

A must see show featuring some of New Zealand’s finest musicians and performers. Two hours of original and cover songs from blues musicians you know and love including BB King, Jimi Hendrix, Gary Moore, Nina Simone and Eric Clapton… to name but a few.

The current show is “The Story of the Blues,” a masterful and colourful stage show that takes you on a journey from the famous Robert Johnson “Crossroads” to the back waters of the Mississippi Delta.

We share the stories of the famous Chicago Blues men and woman that time will not erase!

Hear the blues train, feel the emotion…

Oamaru, you are in for a treat: your very own Ethan Downing is the support performer on the night. Ethan is an artist with his own unique sound. He writes songs of intense imagination, mixed with an extremely listenable sound and purposeful cover choices to match his voice. While still at high school this marks the beginning of an amazing career. Ethan has already played several festivals, “Christmas in the Park” & opened for several traveling acts.

We are currently unable to process online bookings – you can purchase directly from the Oamaru Opera House Ticket Office or phone bookings on 03 433 0770, between 10am-4pm Monday-Friday, or 12pm-1pm Saturdays.
