The Ruahine branch of The NZ Antique and Historical Arms Association presents their annual but long delayed public show, sponsored by Manawatu Hunting and Fishing NZ Ltd.
The Arms Fair is back after the decision to cancel in 2019 and postponement in May 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic. We have put together a fantastic show with trade displays, sales tables and amazing private collections. Come along and see what's new with the modern and historic arms, edged weapons, cartridge collections, militaria, books, medals and insignia, local shooting sports groups, equipment and accessories.
There will be recognised experts in their field there and they are happy to answer any questions you may have. For some of our private collectors, this is the only occasion during the year that they display some of their rarest items, allowing you to get up close and see the real thing. Most of the exhibitors are happy for you to take photographs, but please remember to ask first.
Once again we will be running the giant screen interactive games that have been so popular in previous years. There will be new games to try and we are sure that the kids, both big and small, will really enjoy themselves.
The Conference & Function Centre is the perfect display venue with plenty of parking close by and on-site catering. Pass-outs are available if you plan to take a short walk to George St. or the Square for lunch. It's also just one city block from Manawatu Hunting & Fishing's new store situated at 35 Grey Street. So why not check them out as well, while you are in town?
A $20 family ticket is fantastic value for an outing that has something to interest everyone, so come and join us at the best arms and militaria show in NZ.
Please remember to bring your valid NZ Firearms Licence with you if planning to purchase any firearm or ammunition at the Arms Fair.
