Moon's Thursday programme of Te Wiki o Te Reo Māori features local rangatahi showcasing new flavours in Māori music.

Nikau Te Huki (H4LF CĀST) entwines ancestral wisdom into his waiata delivering powerfully conscious lyrics with a psychedelic, shamanistic twist.

Seth Paenga moved from Gisborne to Poneke recently to follow his passion of music and share his story. He is joined by talented local jazz/hip hop musicians for this performance.

Jhaymeān Terekia is an emerging Māori singer/songwriter from the East Coast, integrating her love for te reo Māori into smooth neo-soul and r&b. She is passionate about using music as a platform to express love for tōna whakapapa, tōna reo, tōna culture.
