Qoya I am water (the element series #1)

Catching the wave. This class acknowledges the element of water, our flow and our connection to those bodies of water that have meaning for us.

This class is for female bodies and all those that associate with being female

Qoya is a movement practice for women developed by Rochelle Schieck, that combines dance, yoga, sensual movement, meditation, breath work, intuition, sacred community, fun and more. If you are new to Qoya take a leap of faith. No prior dance or movement experience required www.qoya.love

About Alison
Alison is a Qoya teacher drawn to movement practices because of the inherent healing wisdoms she felt through her body. She has been on her own healing journey for many years which became even more important after the birth of her two children, through post-natal depression and now into menopause. During this time she studied a variety of complementary healing modalities that are now part of her toolkit.

Qoya is based on the idea ‘through movement we remember’ it offers a safe container where movement is medicine, to dance, to heal, to dive into your depths, to find joy, to sit with the beauty of other woman, to see and be seen, to hear and be heard and to reclaim your sensual feminine. Qoya is now a magical part of her life as a teacher and student. A working mother in the corporate world taking time out to ‘be moved’ helps her to stay in balance, better equipped to navigate the ever-changing landscape of life.
