Pub Sing

With such and amazing success for our first Pub Sing event in Hamilton, the crowd begged for more... so... we're baaaaack!

In order for this to work we are asking for some help for a few things, if you or you know someone that can assist, please send us (Pub Sing Wellington) a private message:
1 - A ride to and from the airport (2:45pm Thursday, 11am Friday)
2 - A basic PA system. Small is fine.
3 - A keyboard. (I like weighted keys but beggars can't be choosers)
4 - A bed and shower (separate things) for Katy

Added bonus if we can get it:
4 - A local guitarist to plug in and jam with us

Hamilton's own Pub Choir! Come and sing your heart out with a bunch of strangers. Learning 3 songs with harmonies over 1.5 hours.

So what is a Pub Sing?
Basically a big, fast paced 'choir' for the average shower singer... at the pub... with real live musicians! No karaoke here!

Do I need to be able to sing?
Nope. Although we think everyone can sing, we're just looking for people who enjoy doing it.

Do I need to be able to read music?
Nope. The words will be provided on a big screen in the venue.

What does it cost?
Nothing! Technically, but... there will be koha buckets on the night. All koha will go towards our musicians, venue hire, music and arrangements, cost of having our meetup group and any other costs etc. We recommend $10pp but it's up to you and what you think it's worth!

Yourself and your mates!

What will we sing?
You will find out the songs on the night, we teach the songs with a few harmonies... and then we belt it out all together! You may or may not know the song, that's the cool thing, we're all learning! Dancing not compulsory but certainly encouraged!
