Proportional Misrepresentation – a new political-satirical-election-musical.

Ahead of the New Zealand election in September this year, come join us as we poke fun at Jacinda, Winston, Simon and other familiar politicos, in the guise of a new scabrous musical comedy by Nick Brown and Ben Kubiak.

Set in February 2020 before we even knew what a lock down really was and when Jami-Lee Ross was the National Party's biggest headache this "laugh out loud funny" musical satire will delight you no matter where you sit politically.

The talented cast includes Patrick Kelly (NZ Opera), Caroline Everitt-Gardiner (Operatunity), Stephen Butterworth (Pop-up Globe) as well as an ensemble of young performers.

Reviews include:
"Sophisticated, clever and pointed.”
"A brilliant piece.”
"Home grown, relevant, funny, great music, and perfectly cast."

This is an independent production staged at the Covert Theatre.
