Extend your skills in this Next Step pottery course, aimed at those who already have the basics. (Held at Wellington Potters' Association, 130 Grant Road, Thorndon).

A follow-on course for those who have some experience of throwing on the wheel and would like some guidance to take their skills to the next stage.

You’ll learn how to “turn” your pots with more confidence and be able to make a variety of small to medium-sized projects. Basic glazing of your pots will also be covered.

By the end of the course, you’ll be able to:
- Turn a pot
- Make a lidded container
- Make a rounded vase
- Form a reasonable sized bowl
- Do basic glazing

All materials included in course fee. Wear old clothes and footwear suitable for a workshop environment and bring an old towel.
