Dominic Hoey is a New Zealand author, playwright and poet.

His debut novel, Iceland was a New Zealand bestseller, and long-listed for the 2018 Ockham Book
Award.

His autobiographical one person show, Your Heart Looks Like a Vagina, a dark comedy about living with autoimmune disease, had three sell out runs in New Zealand and was performed at the Brisbane Poetry Festival in 2017. Dominic was nominated for best new playwright at the 2018 Wel-lington Theatre Awards.

In 2018 Dominic started publishing press Dead Bird Books, with arts facilitator Sam Walsh. They released two books in 2019, How To Take Off Your Clothes by Wellington poet Hadassah Grace and Dominic’s latest collection, I Thought We’d Be Famous. The first run of Dominic’s book sold out on the week of release.

In a former life, Dominic was an MC battle and slam-poetry champion. He’s performed his poetry in Australia, Europe, England, Japan, and America.

Dominic is currently finishing up his second novel, Don’t You Wanna Be Rich and a new play 45 Cents An Hour.

Scott Kendrick is a performance poet, poetry slam winner and satirist with books published in poetry and satire. His style has been described as a happy collision between traditional verse and rap. He comes to us all the way from his home town, Otaki, on the Kapiti Coast.

Angela Frank is a poet and local columnist from Rotorua. Her poems arrive in fits and spurts and will one day be ensnared on pages in a book. In the meantime, you can catch her perform alongside musicians and poets at irregular intervals in the local arts calendar.

Ronna The Asian was born in the land of rice but raised in small town New Zealand, Ronna is a cultural milkshake topped off with sarcasm and short-girl sass. She often thinks of her poetry as the conversations she wished she had, but never quite found the courage to speak
