A new promotion in 2020, the PlaceMakers King Country Stockcar Teams Champs showcases a great opportunity for competitors to hone their teams racing skills early in the season as well as being a fresh concept to excite the spectators! Six race team will hit the track in a ‘highest points make the final’ one night Stockcar Teams extravaganza! Check out our website, Facebook and Instagram for the naming of these teams closer to race day.

In support of the main game is the well-drilled Pit Stop Saloon Series featuring the best of the best! In its the second season, this Saloon Series fails to disappoint. It’s hard, competitive nature offers race fan’s excitement on different levels! Also on the schedule is the King Country Streetstock Championship. Years ago these were no more than an up-spec derby car, but this modern-day feeder class offers speed, thrills and spills that one might expect from a higher grade of race class.

So join us on the grassy banks of the Kihikihi Domain, pack a picnic dinner and bring your family and friends for an entertainment experience like only McDonalds Kihikihi Speedway can do!

Family-friendly and making memories for over 65 years. Only 30 minutes south of Hamilton Central, gates open at 3 pm and racing starts at 5 pm sharp!
